The Andean States

The Andean States are a group of nations that are defined by sharing a common geography, The Andes Mountain Range.
The Andes Mountains South America chain extends over
seven countries. At their northern reach, they begin in
Venezuela, where they run south through parts of Colombia, Ecuador,
Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina.
Peru is undoubtedly a country that certainly owes much
of its tourism industry to its share of the Andes Mountains.
One of the most interesting Andes Mountains facts pertaining
to Peru is that the mountain chain’s highest concentration
of snow peaks is found here. If you want to try snow skiing
in the Andes Mountains, however, the options are extremely
limited, and you won’t find anything even remotely
akin to the kinds of resorts you might expect in the Rocky
Mountains or the Alps. When you think of Peru, you likely
conjure up images of snowy peaks and the Andes Mountains
lost city of Machu Picchu. When it comes to Andes Mountains
facts pertaining to tourism, it is understood that Machu
Picchu is the most visited destination. During its peak
season, Machu Picchu sees some 3,000 visitors a day, and
it appears that the flow of people is not bound to decrease
any time soon.

FSPassenger Scenario
If you use FSPassengers you may want to try the scenario that has been put together for this hoplist. All that is required is to download the Hoplist Package found above. In side you will see a folder called FSPassenger Scenario.
- Start your flight sim and use the FSPassengers menu to start a new company.
- The new company MUST be called Andean Airways (so uploaded flights can be sorted into one company)
- Use the scenario option and load the scenario called Andean Airways
- It will be a good idea to name your pilot with something in brackets telling others who you are. ie Fearless Fly (FigJam) or BatFink (eXup)
- The Installer also adds the ability to upload your flights to the FigAir Flight Recording database.

Description:
This scenario is to be flown in conjunction with the Andean States hoplist on the FigAir Multiplayer servers for the month of October 2009. The company name must be called "Andean Airways" The List starts in the Falkland Islands and snakes its way north to Panama. Taking in some pretty dangerous mountain country on the way. Starting out with just Five million dollars in the bank and a C0 licence its not going to be easy

- Economic management: yes (you must buy aircraft)
- Pilot Career mode: yes (pilot rank limit aircraft type)
- Instant Record of flight: yes
- Fixed failure percentage 18%
- Fixed failure level easy to hard failures
Victory condition:
- Total flight distance: 10,151 Nm
- 1 pilots must be at least: Commercial Pilot (c3)
